St Mary's College

St Andrews, Fife - NO 511165 - RCAMS

A cube dial with four vertical dials, on a circular shaft with a moulded finial. It is inscribed 'DWC 1664'. Thankfully Somerville translates DWC for us as Dr Walter Comrie.

This dial I am very familiar with thanks to many days spent ambling about with a camera in St Andrews.

Other things of interest include an interesting little fountain next to the dial by Hew Lorimer (of Kellie Castle), Janetta's Ice Cream shop on South St, Lower Parliament Hall and of course the attached dial on South St.
